The 180 diet is possibly the easiest weight loss plan ever created for people looking to lose extra weight. The trick is to follow the one simple rule that will keep your metabolism running throughout the day while also helping to maintain blood sugar levels.

I created the 180 diet for myself and decided to build this website to track my progress and journal my results. I originally named it the 180 diet because I wanted to "turn my eating habits around". Like many typical Americans, I had an erratic eating schedule. I would commonly miss meals and get very hungry, then overcompensate with big calorie packed meals. Consequently, I was overweight for many years. It's amazing to me how one simple rule can mean so much in the battle for weight control.

In the U.S. alone, the diet business is a $40+ Billion dollar a year industry.However, the 180 diet is 100% free and you'll probably even save money. The only thing I'd recommend if you don't already have it, is to buy some kind of digital watch or clock that has at least 4-5 daily alarms. Many cell phones have multiple alarms also. The other item to consider is a calorie book. But, with all of the resources available online and nutrition info more available than ever, you may not need that either.
